How will Bjarke Ingels’ brash style play among the hedgerows? “I have my popcorn ready to watch it all unfold”

Update, Aug. 29: Late Friday, BIG’s Thomas Christoffersen provided a few more details about the firm’s Sea Ranch proposal. See below. He also shared higher-resolution versions of the same three renderings we originally published, so we’ve swapped those in.

It feels strange even to type the words: Bjarke Ingels is coming to The Sea Ranch. And renderings shared with Punch List suggest his firm has been working hard to tone down its typically brash act to win over the locals.
